Well-known Italian photographers and many young Italian and foreign artists have donated work in support of FotografiSenzaFrontiere-Onlus, an independent organization founded in 1997, that is committed to creating permanent photographic laboratories set up in marginalized areas or conflict areas in the world.

Through teaching photography, children can learn the basics of a new profession, become enabled to depict their own reality as well as relieve the sense of powerlessness that often breeds in precariousness.

FotografiSenzaFrontiere-HK will invest the entire proceeds in establishing a permanent laboratory for the Kuna people in the archipelago of Kunayala (Panama) and activities at the active laboratories in Nicaragua, Palestine , Saharawi and Uganda.
